About This Project
Winner of hyperPad’s first ever game jam, the OneButton challenge, Neon Curveball (formerly known as Meteor) is an endless chaotic bullet hell game with unusual controls. The Curveball is always moving ahead, you only have one button, yet you must steer in two directions in order to dodge an endless barrage of colourful bullets. Yes, you are going to die. A lot. - 3 new enemy types, to make a total of 6 up from 3. One splits into 2 every few seconds, one leaves behind a kind of trail for you to dodge, one explodes if you get too close. - New sound effects for basically everything. My personal favourite is the boosting sound. - Fancy new WIP title screen, still has many incomplete parts - Major reworks behind the scene to support the ability to record a run (might be laggier on older devices) - Replay mode lets you re-watch your run or someone else’s - Player hitbox is smaller, powerups move slower and pull to you differently, spawning mechanics slightly changed and swapped some enemy colours, doubled boost capacity - You can no longer glitch outside the map - Possibly more changes but I can’t remember them

Yo I just downloaded this to check it out and decide if I would buy the editor and this is fire. I love the gameplay and concept. Might come back often.
This game is great! The controls are kind of hard for me to get used to but I still managed to fumble my way around :P I thought it was funny when I said “this game is easy” and then two seconds later I died lol Yep, the controls are meant to be hard 😛
